Welcome to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman Exhibition Stand. The Ombudsman independently investigates complaints about UK government departments, other public organisations and the NHS in England. We believe a well-handled complaint has the power to rebuild trust and confidence in public services. Please come and meet our engagement team. You can find out how the UK Central Government Complaint Standards set out expectations for good complaint handling. The Standards will help you deliver what service users want when they make a complaint and support colleagues to deliver good complaint handling day in, day out. The Standards were co-designed with UK central government departments, other public bodies and advice and advocacy groups. Building on the good practice that already exists, they provide a consistent approach to complaint handling across government departments.
