Business Modernisation for Support (BMfS) is a complex, pan-Defence programme that sits in the Defence Support portfolio, under UK Strategic Command (UKStratCom). It is one of the largest change programmes in Europe, and is made up of multiple concurrent programmes and projects that complement each other to deliver a more robust and resilient Defence Support service.
BMfS’ vision Technology-enabled Defence Support to deliver operational advantage to the Warfighter.
What does this mean? BMfS will streamline and modernise delivery and management of support services to our armed forces. This includes things like centralised management of inventory in the warehouses, and a user-friendly, single sign-on platform for all end users across all areas of Defence.
