Developed by the Home Office, the Emergency Services Network (ESN) will provide emergency services first responders with fast, safe and secure voice, video and data sharing capabilities giving the emergency services immediate access to life-saving information in real-time, transforming how they operate.
With a wide range of workstreams, the Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme (ESMCP) has staff based in London and Bristol working on a range of specialist areas including engineering, telecommunications, project management, security, communications, user engagement and more.
We will provide an update on the progress of the programme, working together with EE on mobile services and IBM on user services, and how we work with the emergency services including police, fire and rescue, ambulance, coastguard, mountain rescue and other first responders to provide a service that meets their requirements.
