HMICFRS inspect police forces (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) and fire services (England). We ask the questions that we believe the public wish to have answered, and publish our findings, conclusions and recommendations. We use our expertise to interpret the evidence and make recommendations for improvement.
We will have inspectors supporting with the stand who will be able to tell you more on the role, how we conduct our inspections and report our findings. We will also be able to advise attendee’s of the stand about the type of roles that we have and how each role contributes to HMICFRS purpose which is making communities safer.
