HMCTS – A Department of opportunity

HMCTS – A Department of opportunity

We’re part of the Ministry of Justice, responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family courts and tribunals in England and Wales. Working with the independent judiciary and a range of justice partners we provide fair, efficient access to justice for all, including some of the most vulnerable people in society.

With 18,000 staff across 350 locations, last year we dealt with over 4 million cases, held over 2.3 million hearings and answered around 2 million calls.

We’ve successfully implemented a landmark reform programme, revolutionising access to justice for all with cutting-edge digital solutions and modernised services.

Visit our stand to find out more about our vital work and our diverse career opportunities, including becoming a legal advisor or magistrate.

Whether you’re interested in frontline operations, digital innovation, or supporting vulnerable people through the system, our team will demonstrate how HMCTS is shaping the future of the justice system.
